Mint Commercial is owned by Stuart Turner. Stuart has over 25 years experience in the cleaning industry and has advised some of New Zealand’s largest companies with food hygiene and cleaning before embarking on the journey of commercial cleaning.

Mint can care for your whole property as you require. Interior cleaning, floor polishing, carpet cleaning, window cleaning and warehouse floor cleaning. We can even clean the exterior of the building and walkways, all types of roofs, driveways, graffiti removal, gardening and lawn mowing, and rubbish removal.

Mint provides services to cafes, churches, computer tech, dental services, engineering, facility managers, food manufacturing, foodservice, financial services, furniture manufacturing, garden centres, healthcare, insurance companies, property managers, restaurants, radio stations, retailing, schools, sports clubs. If it needs cleaning in our community, we can clean it.

Prices vary depending on what work you want us to do. We will give a quote or an estimate after talking with you about your site and discussing with you about your requirements and the frequency of the work.

We price for the job not for hours worked unless we state that. We give you a written price for the expected clean with exceptions, such as the site or clean is not as described by you, or you ask for additional services that are not agreed to in the original price.

We do like to visit larger jobs or unusual cleans so that we able to give the most accurate price. If you require an urgent clean and we are not able to have time to access the job, we will give an estimate based on what you describe. We will access the site on the day and review the price before we start the job.

Yes, we are able to provide you with an insurance clean. You must get approval from your insurer to go ahead. In the event of flooding or water egress we can clean and provide blowers to dry your home or business. In the event of fire when can provide an initial clean up but this is usually arranged with your insurer directly with us.

If the job is a one off job, we expect payment on invoice. We may ask for a deposit to be paid for work to be carried out. If you have a regular cleaning contract with us, we will have agreed terms with you in a written contract.

We use products that are safe for our staff to use and are safe in our environment. Where possible we use cleaning products that are from sustainable sources, that are plant based, or that are non-toxic to people and the environment.

Yes. Mint has experience in cleaning and sanitising at a high level. We use the correct product and the correct applicator for the job.

We use products like SpraySafe PROTECT to sanitise surfaces where there has been outbreaks of flus and viruses as it does not harm people, plants, or surfaces. Internationally the ingredient used in PROTECT is used in medical care, dental, rest home, food production, homes, and animal welfare. PROTECT is an antibacterial and an antiviral product, but we do use a range of products. We also use ozone machines to kill out airborne spores and pathogens.

Mint Commercial carries a high level of liability insurance. This protects all our clients should we ever make a mistake.
